Our legal DNA test follows a strict chain-of-custody process with the DNA sample collection witnessed, giving you legal, court-admissible DNA test results which serves as strong evidence proving your biological relationship. Personal knowledge test, on the other hand is only for your personal information and cannot be used as an evidence.
Yes, you then use samples from alleged father's relatives and choose one of the family relationship DNA tests (siblings, grandparents, avuncular and Y-STR).
It depends on the type of the test and complexity of each case. Typically, we are able to send your results out in 5-10 working days for family relationship tests (paternity, siblings, etc.) and in 10-12 working days for prenatal DNA tests. Most of the tests can be expedited for fee (ask to upgrade).
As environmentally aware organization, we always send your DNA report via email. Electronic report is accessible in minutes after the final laboratory result approval. The report is attached to the email as an Adobe PDF file that can be saved and printed each time as an original. Protecting your privacy, we will not give results over the phone.
That depends on your situation. If you require the results as an evidence at the Court or for any other legal purpose, you will need a Legal DNA Test. If your were asked to prove your relationship by immigration agency (eg. UK Home Office, USCIS, German Foreign Office or any of the Embassies, you will need an Immigration DNA Test.
You can just order At-home Sample Collection Kit and collect the cheek swabs yourself. However, If you decide to have your samples collected (legal tests, immigration tests and prenatal tests) at our collection site you need to book appointment.
